Omega-6 fatty acids are the most common type and are found in most human foods, but are also present in sunflower oil, corn oil, sesame oil and rape seed oil.
Omega-3 fatty acids can be found in linsead (flaxseed) oil and oily fish such as salmon, trout and mackerel.
